Marcello Fabbri is a contemporary Florentine poet who enjoys a distinguished reputation in Italy. In 1978 Fabbri published his first book of poetry, Il Pane di Sasso (Stone Bread).
Since then he has won numerous prizes for his poetry and prose and has published several other books, the most well known of which is his book of poetry entitled Il Sole Sulla Scala (The Sun On The Stairs). The Light of Memory is the first book of his poetry in English. |
